Project Update

We wanted to give everyone a quick update on where things stand.

Progress has been a little slower than we originally hoped, but for a very good reason. One of the biggest engineering challenges has been perfecting the swappable articulation. We spent a great deal of time testing, refining, and improving our 3-d models because we weren’t willing to move forward until it worked exactly as intended.

We’re excited to say that we’ve now successfully produced samples that have the right tolerances and the parts work as intended. The production molds are officially being made as we speak. Based on our current timeline, we expect the molds to be completed in approximately six weeks.

Our number one priority has always been quality. We’d rather take the extra time now than deliver a product that falls short of the standards we’ve set for ourselves and the expectations of our backers.

Once the molds are complete, you’ll start seeing much more frequent—and much more exciting—updates. We’ll finally have production samples in hand to share with everyone, giving you a first look at how the figures are coming together. We know you’ve been waiting patiently, and we’re looking forward to showing you the progress every step of the way.

The molds are completed with the lab playset and the photos shown are of actually injected and painted pieces.
